I'm trying everything and i referred to the following post thinking it might help but i'm such a newbie it's like reading Greek.

I have one page for my site that pulls in different information depending on the GET variable in the URL (similar to a blog). I'm assuming this must be possible, but i've been searching for hours and havn't come across anything.
Also, if anyone can recommend a book that "dumbs down" mod_rewrite and .htaccess for your average schlep (moi) that would make my world a friendlier place
