You could try redirecting with mod_rewrite. Other than that i don't think so, it normally doesn't show up in the URL.

That didn't work. :( In my old host and setup the redirect worked as normal without any question marks. I believe it is try to force some type of query, which is why it's appending a question mark... hm. This just fugs up some potential Google juice because it would consider a URL with a ? as different from the one without... :/

I doubt that. It has no meaning, it's just a separator.
