Using my free web space with a purchased domain name

Hi,

I've trawled through some of the past posts, hacked about in my htaccess file, but I'm only getting more confused, so I'd be really grateful if someone could help.

I've got some free web space with my ADSL account at http://skynautdial.f2s.com/
I've also got a domain name registered with a domain registrar and in their control panel I've forwarded the domain http://alienantenna.net/ to http://skynautdial.f2s.com/index.php

All I want to do at the moment is continue to use the registrar to forward http://alienantenna.net/ to http://skynautdial.f2s.com/index.php, BUT retain http://alienantenna.net/index.php in the address bar (without using frame redirection in the domain registrar's control panel). Is this possible?

I then want to use the smart URLs feature in my blog script, which hopefully will show my chosen domain name and not that of the webhost.

Ta,
Andy

Mod_rewrite can't do it. You would need real DNS. Mod_rewrite works after the request has got to the server it's on, so after the forward/frame.

Thank you very much for saving me further headache. Now I can look for an alternative solution. Cheers.
