testing if multiply subdomains rewrite is enable

hello, i tested if mod_rewrite is able and yes. then i tested some examples that saw here but noone worked to me.

I would need to test first with any example if is able to do that with mod_rewrite because all that i tested didnt work. any, i would need some that show me the subdomain that i choosed with a php file that i send the value thus

subdomain.domain.com --> domain.com/folder/show.php?name=subdomain for example.

can someone help me to that?

More than one sub domain?

You need DNS for the sub domains. What are the sub domain document roots? They need to go to one directory.
