php-fusion and mod-rewrite

Postby orionjoel » Sun Sep 26, 2004 11:15 pm

I have started using php-fusion rather then the static website i have been using. The problem i have is that i have 80+ pages indexed in google from the static site and want to create a set of mod rewrite rules to save losing my indexing in google.

From working with php-fusion the link that is available to work with is as follows

Code: Select all
readarticle.php?article_id=1

and each article gets a new number. I dont think that their would any any easy way todo this but could someone please help me out with what code i may need to turn the link above into

Code: Select all
www.domain.com/folder/folder/pagename.htm

I am not really an overally good programmer so any help is really appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your help.
