DIrectory style link

Hello!
I have a link like: 'http://www.mydomain.com/register.php?u=daemon' and I want to change the link to 'http://www.mydomain.com/daemon/'

I can use also 'http://www.mydomain.com/register.php?daemon' but I need to change it to 'http://www.mydomain.com/daemon/'


Can someone help me?
