rewrite rule to capture HTTP POST content

New to mod_rewrite? This is a good place to start.

rewrite rule to capture HTTP POST content

Is it possible to use a rewrite rule to capture the content of the incoming HTTP POST message body and rewrite it as a URI parameter for consumption by a CGI program?

I don't know of any variables that contain the POST message body that mod_rewrite could match. If there is one it could be done.

Thanks for the reply.

I knew when I posted the question that I might be looking at the wrong part of Apache.
