Simple mod_rewrite

On my site, I have a file /blog.php

When I access it, for some reason, the url is displaying as /blog.php/

there is a folder called /blog/

If I type /blog, /blog/ or /blog.php, i get redirected to the blog.php, with the address shown as /blog.php/

What I would like is to have the address shown as /blog/ in all scenarios.

Do you have some mod_rewrite already?

When the URL is /blog/, should the directory or blog.php be shown?
