Yahoo has read my rewrite!!! Plz Help

Postby sammy_smith » Sun Jan 09, 2005 4:37 pm

Hello,
I don't know yahoo has been able to read the final url that is produced through my rewrite but it has.
Does anyone know how this can happen!?!
Is it an apache 2 setting that I can change??

Here is the example:
URL: http://www.barcelonapoint.com/en/apartm ... tment_161/
ModRewrite: apartment_detail.php?lang=en&apartment=161

Yahoo index: http://www.barcelonapoint.com/apartment ... rtment=161

This is really odd!!!

Any input is apreciated.
Thanx

Hmm. Have you had there in the past any links to the php-script on your site or on external sites? The searchengine cannot see, hat there happens sthg. with mod_rewrite. Yahoo might only get the URL if some links are/were on the page...
