All LINKS changed on website after Modrewrite - WHY ??

Hi guys..
I run an Apache Server locally on my XP-System..
The following rule is set in the .htaccess

RewriteEngine On
RewriteRule ^page/Produkt1 page.php?name=Produkt1

The RewriteRule works great...
no problem here..

HOWEVER:
Once I open the page "localhost/page/Produkt1" all the links on the displayed site now have the word "page" added to the URL..
For example
- localhost/page/index.php instead of just localhost/index.php
- localhost/page/home.php instead of just localhost/index.php

Why is the word "/page" added to every Link on the site with modrewrite?
