Reverse mod rewrite to $_GET variable

Postby Kian » Thu Dec 09, 2010 5:29 pm

Hello

From a drop down menu i can select records and on-click i'm redirected to the following seo-friendly url

http://www.mydomain.tld/42-Record-Name.html

It works fine but i have a really strange problem  After clicking the record in drop down menu i'm redirected to the above url but i need to $_GET the id (42 in the example). I need to take the 42-Record-Name.html part to query the database but i don't know why to GET it. I tryed with "reverse" mod rewrite, query string, header + exit. No results. I hope that someone can help me.

Thank you
Bye
