Dynamic to static url conversion

I want to seo my page. I read some tutorials the last few hours but i can't get things working.

I want the page: mydomain.tld/guestbook.php?page=blah to be shown as mydomain.tld/guestbook/blah

In the perfect case, i wouldn't have to change anything in my scripts and the dynamic url would be overwritten with the static one.

I hope anybody is able to help me.
