Is it possible to obfuscate the hostname in a URL

Postby goswell » Fri Jan 28, 2011 6:44 am

I am trying to figure out a way to obfuscate the hostname in the address bar of a browser.
Example:
I have a website that redirects to another host for login credentials. Upon redirection the URL in the address bar of browser will be http://sso1:7666/login.
I would like the URL in the browser to say something else, like http://login.mydomain.com:7666/login.

Is that possible with mod_rewrite?

Thanks.
