Syntax error ??

Oh, the strange things mod_rewrite does!

Syntax error ??

Postby leinad49 » Thu Aug 21, 2008 4:17 am

Hi. I've put this in httpd.conf :

Code: Select all
RewriteCond %{HTTP_USER_AGENT} !.*bot.*
RewriteRule ^/.*/.*/.*/.*/.*/([a-Z]+)\.([0-9]+)\.html$ \
http://mywebsite.fr/F?func=find-b&request=$2&find_code=SYS&local_base=$1

But I got this error message each time I try to restart Apache :

Syntax error on line 313 of /etc/apache2/httpd.conf:
RewriteRule: cannot compile regular expression '^/.*/.*/.*/.*/.*/([a-Z]+)\\.([0-9]+)\\.html$'

Should somebody help me ? Thanks a lot.[/code]

a-Z should be the same case (a-z or A-Z).
